Vincent's First Holy Communion

Mother's Day, May 8, was the day of Vincent's First Holy Communion. It was such a special day. My guy was so handsome and happy. Thank you Lord for this precious son and sacrament!

It was an extra special occasion because our dear friend, Gabriella, also received her first Holy Communion. She was so beautiful and sweet!

These two have known each other since she was 1 and he was 2.

Here she is with her little sister, Lucia, my God-Daughter!

And their mommy and littlest sister Marianna!

On the way to the special 3pm Mass, we saw Zachary getting dressed to serve as an altar server.

Francesca and Lucia - God-sisters - on their way to the church.

I didn't actually see him receive Jesus (the church was packed!), but here is a photo of him shortly after.

And outside posing for a group photo.

We had a combined party at Gabriella's house.

Easter Sunday Celebration

Our celebration truly begins with Christ's resurrection every Sunday... Every DAY for that matter! Amen!
The boys know the Easter bunny doesn't exist, but its still fun to pretend. We don't make a big deal out of the big bunny anyways.

Here's Veronica with her first Easter basket.
The basket is the best part...

Vincent happy with his night vision goggles!

Zack all ready for Mass.

My little diva on her bed munching on chocolate for breakfast.

Veronica dolled up for church!

Here are the kids after Mass at St. Patrick's.
Its really hard to get all four of them looking towards the camera with a happy face!

My handsome boys!

Veronica and Mommy.

We had Easter lunch at our house.
Jason's idea... Easter egg wine bottle stopper for a chicken-labeled bottle.

Veronica with her Grandpa/God Father.

Francesca playing with an Easter toy from her
basket from Grandma and Grandpa.

Uncle Ray and Jason, wine glasses in hand.

Fresca and Gramma!

The egg hunt begins!

Maya, her mom and my cousin Jeff were here as well.

A good one of Linda Paz and Veronica.

Francesca scored lots of candy... trouble is brewing.

Easter Egg Dyeing

Saturday we dyed our eggs. Most were store bought white eggs but we tried a few of our farm fresh brown eggs. I liked the way those turned out! The butterfly egg was a brown one and is dedicated to Gramma Cathy :)

For part of the time, Veronica was content chewing on an egg dipper.

Fresca enjoyed her first time coloring eggs.

Her hands got very green and yellow as well! Each time she dyed an egg she peeled it immediately. She ate one and the other two peeled eggs ended up back in the dye!

The boys had an egg hunt when their eggs were done drying.

Christmas Fun Before Christmas

The girls and I got to walk around down town Lodi while the guys finished watching the new Chronicles of Narnia movie... We got to see Santa! He was parked in front of the Antiquarium... a newish store with way too many cute things inside. So many that its hard to focus in on anything!

Here's a peek inside. Francesca enjoyed the many Christmas tree displays.

Saying hello to the annual Santa Bear in front of the RockyMountain Chocolate Factory.

Vincent strung up some lights on the tree house.

And the Christmas tree! The boys brought the tree in and set it up in the stand.
Vincent did the lights. It was great! All I got to do was the fun part, ornaments.

Fresca had fun digging into the boxes of decorations.

Here's a new ornament I bought on etsy.com. It was made by my friend Sharon.

Veronica's been enjoying the lights this first Christmas for her.

A surprise visit from Santa at our home!
